about the artist
Lisa Kozokowsky's oversized canvases in a combination of oils, metals and encaustics portray western Canadian landscapes with an imaginative and abstractive burst of energy and color. Her inspiration for her unique "wild woman" style is drawn from the rich colors and gold leaf of the Canadian contemporary landscape as well as the mining of natural resources such as our own oil sands topography.

Lisa is hard at work preparing for the 100th anniversary of the Calgary Stampede in the Western Art Show. Her new pieces are being posted daily on her business FaceBook page.
