' Contemporary Landscape Art - Abstract Landscapes - Lisa Kozokowsky

Artful Living

about the artist

Lisa Kozokowsky's oversized canvases in a combination of oils, metals and encaustics portray western Canadian landscapes with an imaginative and abstractive burst of energy and color. Her inspiration for her unique "wild woman" style is drawn from the rich colors and gold leaf of the Canadian contemporary landscape as well as the mining of natural resources such as the oil sands topography.

new works

At the request of many of her clients, Lisa has painted her trademark images onto tiny leafs of gold leaf and custom matted them in rag cotton, ready for a frame.  Her first set of 20 sold out at her latest show in Saskatoon with John Einnerson's new art group, Artists On Tour.  They are a fantastic pick at $120.  We will be adding these to the site under it's own heading in the very new future.

Congratulations Lisa!

Lisa has just been juried in for her fourth year to the Artist's Studios at the Calgary Stampede July 5th - 14th, 2014. She has been working hard on a new series of colourful representational abstractive encaustic landscapes on birch board.

corporate art

Lisa Kozokowsky's oil paintings are found in many corporate art collections throughout Western Canada. She can create a themed piece based on your business location or where you do business or create a special work for your important client. Lisa has created oilsands themed art as well as abstractive images of exploration locations throughout North America. Her signature is using materials of the earth such as pyrite, fossils, and ammolite and incorporating them into the artwork. Lisa can be commisioned for an entire office or one single statement piece.
